New Michael Jordan-branded gear is unveiled by Paris Saint-Germain.
The new fourth uniform for Paris Saint-Germain for the 2023–24 season is the latest result of the French team’s long-standing partnership with Michael Jordan’s apparel brand.
The brilliant gold strip celebrates the five anniversary of PSG and the Jordan Brand’s partnership, which started in 2018 and has resulted in a number of alternate uniforms and apparel lines. It is a little bit of a belated celebration.
furthermore features a geometric print derived from elephant hide, which has been a staple of the Jordan design language since it debuted on the Air Jordan III sneaker in 1988.
Kylian Mbappé, a star striker, was invited to showcase the new uniform.
This season, the Parisians have also embraced the well-known design, which was initially seen on the third kit in dark gray.
The 2023–24 fourth kit also has a black and navy crew-style collar and cuffs, a black stripe that extends from the armpit to the lower hem, and monochromatic crests and emblems to simplify the color scheme.
The launch was held at the Qatar National Museum in Doha, where a number of well-known members of the Paris Saint-Germain women’s team, including Korbin Albert, Élisa De Almeida, Grace Geyoro, Jackie Groenen, and Sakina Karchaoui, attended. The golden shirt looked great against the building’s abstract, sandy architecture.
