We’ll search the waiver wire every Monday for underrated players that could benefit fantasy teams across many leagues. Additionally, we’ll highlight a number of excellent streaming options for the next week.
FPPG, 83.0% available): Zucker scored a power-play goal against Vegas Saturday to extend his scoring run to four games, building on his hat-trick in Colorado on Thursday. In that 3-1 regulation loss, the top-line winger skated for about 22 minutes as well. Zucker is averaging 3.6 fantasy points per game in regular leagues with seven goals and three assists in seven games, seven of which count with the extra skater. To start, my favorite fantasy addition this week is the veteran. (Until his output dries up again, however.) There is still time to play fantasy hockey.
Dmitri Voronkov Columbus Blue 2.0 FPPG, 74.2% available): Seven goals in six games is indisputable, even though the average hockey fan outside of Columbus probably hasn’t heard of him. especially considering that in regular competition, Voronkov averages 3.9 fantasy points each contest. Additionally, there are 22 shots to enjoy throughout that section. Right now, the Blue Jackets team, which includes Kirill Marchenko, Sean Monahan, and Voronkov, is thriving. Profit from it.
Patrick Kane F Detroit Red WingsThe experienced scorer has three goals and four assists during the Red Wings’ current four-game winning run (1.3 FPPG, 48.1% available). There is a reason for such correlation. Even though he hasn’t warmed up quickly enough, Kane may finally be returning to his usual output on a front unit alongside Andrew Copp and Alex DeBrincat.
Warren Foegele F Los Angeles KingsIs Quinton Byfield already accounted for (FPPG, 93.9% available)? If so, take a look at his linemate’s fantasy. Foegele, who has a fantastic rapport with the 22-year-old, has quietly picked up four goals and six assists in his last nine games. Also, especially lately, he blocks more shots than the typical forward. The Toronto Maple Leafs’ Matthew Knies, F (1.7 FPPG, 63.1% available): Auston Matthews’ return to the team’s lineup is something that Maple Leafs Nation is not alone in enjoying. When the sophomore forward was reunited with his star linemate and Mitch Marner against Boston, he earned his first NHL hat trick and added two assists after a pretty dry time overall. then scored a goal in Sunday’s 3-2 victory over Philadelphia to cap off that outstanding performance.
