The EFL sends a “Mystery Family” to SJP each year to evaluate how we treat our supporters and families in general. Our performance record is excellent. The Mystery Family report from last season was quite complimentary of the SJP Experience. giving us one of their 12 highly sought-after Gold Awards. Overall, we placed third overall in the EFL and second in League One.

The first audits for this year have started. Help your Club to the top of the tree. If you notice anything in your match day that needs improving please let us know. Please email customerservices@exetercityfc.co.uk.

Stadium Tours

Why not make an early entrance? Why not join us on our fantastic Stadium Tour on Saturday if you haven’t already? Visit https://www.exetercityfc.co.uk/tickets/stadium-tours to make a reservation in advance. The tours, which begin at 11 a.m. and convene in the Fan Zone near the entrance to the Centre Spot, are completely free and offer a wonderful opportunity to view the Changing Rooms, Security Centre, and Museum while your club is in action. The duration of the tours is one hour to 90 minutes.

Your First Visit to SJP?

First off, thank you for helping out your neighbourhood club.

By 1:30, report to the Fan Zone Academy Stall or Information Point to attend our quick Familiarization/Induction Tour with a certificate and photo opportunity for kids. The perfect introduction to the comprehensive, renowned, and cost-free matchday Stadium Tour.

First-time fans can sign up for free entry into a drawing for a personalised match ball at the end of the season.

A Welcome pamphlet that has all the information you require about your Club will also be sent to you.

We Care

Hot Weather
It is predicted to be another hot afternoon. In general and particularly on the Big Bank at 25C don’t forget your shades, factor 50 and plenty of money for cool drinks. Please note that ECFC sunglasses have sold out in the shop but there are a range of hats available.

Autism packs are available including ear defenders. Please ask an Ambassador for help.

Getting to SJP on match days

Nothing could be simpler than EX4 6PX – visiting fans EX4 6PU.

BUS: Local buses stop at Sidwell Street, Old Tiverton Road, Pinhoe Road, York Road, Pennsylvania Road, Prince Charles Road, and Union Road. It takes less than a minute to walk literally all the way around the stadium. £2 is the maximum single-trip fare.

RAIL: There are more direct trains running from St. Davids to St. James Park Exeter. boarding a main line passenger aboard a direct train from Paignton to Exmouth, Okehampton or North Devon. By scheduling your trip through St. James Park (Exeter) station, you can save money. There are direct departures to SJP at 13:04, 13:43, 14:03, and 14:43.

Return services start from 16:51. And later for those who don’t want to rush and stay to catch the results or watch England’s Euro 2024 Qualifier. (PS – some pints are reduced in price in the Centre Spot and Real Ale bar).

DRIVING: Why not use Park & Ride? City Centre car parks will be busy.

CYCLING: racks are available at the stadium and throughout Sidwell Street.

Fan Zone Activity

11am – Pre-booked guests are welcomed on to the highly acclaimed Stadium Tour
12pm – Shop, bars and ticket offices open
12:30pm – players start to arrive and are happy to sign autographs or pose for selfies. Why not tweet your picture #SemperFidelis or other social media platforms.

Club Shop

😀 Matchday Family Fun: Cambridge United - News - Exeter City FC

Make your way to the Club Shop before or after the match.  It is the only way to obtain your official City souvenirs and check out what’s new or any special offers.  And remember there is a 10% in-store discount for Junior Grecian and Trust Members (Excl. match programmes and reduced/sale items). https://shop.exetercityfc.com. Don’t forget to buy a hat!

First time Supporters can pick up a Welcome sheet at the Academy stall that defines all you need to know about your local Club. If it is your first visit please let us know by emailing customerservices@exetercityfc.co.uk and we will endeavour to make it memorable for you.

Your Ambassador Team are located at entrance points and immediately inside the stadium and will be happy to assist you with directions or answer questions. For children hey will have a big match bingo card.

“Play Your Cards Right” will be the activity on Saturday, and the prize will be your pick of a FIFA 23 game, shirt, football, and more. There will be games at 1pm and 1:45pm (depending on the weather) because of the earlier kickoff time.

A Grecian and O’s fan will announce their respective teams at roughly 2 pm, along with announcements about women’s football and updates on the travel schedule for away games.

Announce the City team or Join the Guard of Honour

If you have the drive and feel you can get supporters cheering you can announce the City team in the Fan Zone. Just turn up at the Information Point.

Want to be on the pitch as the players enter SJP? Then be part of the flag waving, Guard of Honour!
The Guard of Honour for Saturday has 5 vacancies. If your child would like to be part of the flag waving team welcoming the players and officials onto the pitch on Saturday or at a future game please email customerservices@exetercityfc.co.uk. Children taking part not only get on the pitch but also receive a certificate of participation and a bag of sweets.

Locally Sourced Hot Snacks

In addition to serving their customary locally produced pre-game meals (including chips) starting at noon, Kenniford Farm will be open for business at halftime for patrons of the Navada Construction stand.

The kiosks inside the stadium sell a variety of snacks, sweets, and beverages. The Wrestlers Hot Dogs, new for this season, appear to be a popular purchase. Please keep in mind that the JG Zone, which has a kiosk and is open to everyone at halftime, is nearby if you are in the Navada Construction stand. allowing you to enjoy your pasty or cup of coffee while watching the halftime results on their TV.

The information Point is the ideal meeting place and will have programmes (home and away) and team sheets available for a donation to the Academy.

Trust Queries & Membership Applications Ticket Booth

There is now a dedicated Trust window at the Ticket Booth in the Fan Zone. The Trust Membership secretary will be pleased to meet prospective new members who want to be a part of the Club or those who want to find out about all the work the Trust does and benefits of becoming a member. He will also have 20th Anniversary badges and pens available.

Junior Grecians Lounge

The Junior Grecians are the Official Junior Supporters Club of Exeter City FC. New this season is face painting back after Covid by popular demand.

Families can enjoy pre-game entertainment in this space, including big-screen TVs, PlayStation consoles, and table football, as well as the ability to get refreshments from the Zone’s very own kiosk. A volunteer is also doing face painting in the family room so that you may “show your colours.” It opens exclusively for Members at 12 p.m. and is accessible to all kids starting at 13:30 p.m.

Bars

You have a plethora of options! There is a bar section in the Fan Zone. The Famous Exeter City Real Ale & Cider Emporium is located in the Centre Spot bar, which is located directly off the Fan Zone. The Optimising IT Adam Stansfield stand is located beneath the croft bar on the stadium’s other side. In these bars, some pints are discounted following the game. Why make a mad dash for home? Remain and cheer on England in the Euros.
The Trust Suite for our Hospitality Guests are some additional bars. For visitors of our match, ball, and programme sponsors, there is the Legends Lounge. The Heritage Lounge for Members is the last stop.
The Big Bank operates a break-out bar during halftime in the stadium. Aside from the Away Terrace, there is an alcohol vending machine there.

Family Locations in Stadium

The first choice for families should be Block E in the Navada Construction stand. This will allow half-time use of the Junior Grecian Zone. We have listened to families who prefer to stand to watch the match. For them an area has been allocated on the Big Bank. It used to be denoted by the provision of white barriers allowing those with older children to move closer to the passion of the City heart. An overspill area has also been allocated in Block A in the Optimising IT Adam Stansfield Stand.

ECFC Museum Trust

On the majority of match days, hospitality visitors, and on Wednesday afternoons, the jam-packed Museum Room is open for FREE Stadium Tours. The museum’s mission is to gather, protect, share, and honour the history and traditions of the ECFC.

Our stadium-wide strategy has resulted in a variety of at every SJP opportunity. Hall of Fame exhibits and an ECFC Timeline may be found in the Optimising IT Adam Stansfield stand. The 1917 match ball is in the Museum and is certainly worth a look, as is the Road to Brazil near the JG Zone entry, a list of every player beyond Gate 3, and numerous more picture boards around the walls. Ask our Ambassador Team at the entrances for further information.

Autism

To further the football club’s commitment to making matchdays inclusive to all, please remember Exeter City have some Autism packs available. Please ask at the Information Point.

Soccer Sight

Headsets are readily available for supporters to collect from reception or the ticket office ahead of kick-off. To book one in advance, please contact reception on 01392 411 243 or by emailing reception@ecfc.co.uk.
