How has the Swedish international fared since sealing a club-record transfer to Portugal? Sporting Lisbon, a Portuguese powerhouse, sealed the acquisition of Coventry City attacker Viktor Gyökeres for about £20 million in July.
Last season, Viktor Gyökeres helped the Sky Blues score 31 goals, helping Mark Robins’ team advance to the Championship play-off final. However, despite helping Gustavo Hamer score the club’s equalizer, the team lost the penalty shootout, and that game ended up being his last for the team.
