Cam Jordan Sends Clear Message To Saints Fans

Cameron Jordan #94 of the New Orleans Saints rushes the passer during a game against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field on September 24, 2023 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

New Orleans Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan wasn’t happy to hear boos from the home crowd at the Caesars Superdome on

December 3 against the Detroit Lions.

While the Saints did lose that game to the Lions in Week 13, New Orleans turned around and beat up the Carolina Panthers the

following week – also at home.

Jordan told Kay Adams on FanDuel TV’s “Up & Adams” show that the hope is for the team to turn all the boos into cheers as the

season goes on.

That change in attitude and atmosphere will go a long way for Saints players in the final month of the year, he added.

“As long as we can control our own destiny in these last four games,” Jordan said, “it truly matters that the fans are behind the team.”

New Orleans is locked in a three-way tie for first place in the NFC South and a guaranteed home playoff game alongside the Tampa

Bay Buccaneers and Atlanta Falcons.

All three teams are 6-7, but the Buccaneers technically hold the tiebreaker to sit in first place.

New Orleans plays both teams in the final two weeks of the regular season – two matches which will surely affect who from that

division goes to the playoffs.

So in the meantime, Jordan wants the fans to be more positive – especially at home.

The Saints aren’t out of the postseason yet, and there’s still four games left on the docket before their fate will be decided.
