EXCL: Browns star Makes ‘scary’ admission over club’s exit…..

Joe Flacco Makes Honest Admission About His Browns Tenure

Joe Flacco #15 of the Cleveland Browns and David Njoku #85 of the Cleveland Browns celebrate a touchdown during the first quarter against the Jacksonville Jaguars at Cleveland Browns Stadium on December 10, 2023 in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Cleveland Browns have been hit hard by the injury bug this season starting in Week 2 when they lost star running back Nick

Chubb for the year, and it looked like the type of miserable fortune their fans are used to.

But the team has consistently found ways to win games, even when they arguably had no business of winning, and lately, their hero

has been 38-year-old quarterback Joe Flacco.

Flacco, whom they signed in November, hadn’t played yet this season when he arrived in Cleveland, but he has led the team to two

straight victories.

Per SiriusXM NFL Radio, he said he got no calls from any other teams before joining the Browns, and he expressed his gratitude for

being given another chance to play in the NFL.

Years ago, Flacco led an underdog Baltimore Ravens team to a Super Bowl championship over the San Francisco 49ers, and although

he has never made the Pro Bowl, he established himself as a solid QB for many years.

In three games with the Browns, his stats haven’t been impressive in some ways — he has just a 57.9 percent completion rate and has

thrown five interceptions — but he does have 939 passing yards and seven passing touchdowns.

Three of those interceptions came against the Chicago Bears on Sunday, a game the Browns came narrowly close to losing when

Chicago quarterback Justin Fields nearly connected on a Hail Mary touchdown pass on the final play.

The Browns are currently in fifth place in the AFC, but they will have a somewhat challenging schedule to end the regular season, as they will play the Houston Texans, New York Jets, and Cincinnati Bengals.
