Williams spent 10 years dating the quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, and this week she talked about her personal life on a podcast.
The 27-year-old influencer showed up on the most recent episode of Veronica Droulia’s podcast “Martinis and Bikinis” to discuss how she handled going back into the dating scene.
“How do you feel transitioning from that into dating now?” Droulia questioned her, after she had recently moved to New York following the separation. In response, Williams said in a hurry that that was the “question of the century.”
In Williams’ words, their relationship lasted “for a really long time,” and it was “difficult” to terminate.
“I spent ten years dating my former partner. I would say that at first, I found dating to be extremely, extremely, extremely tough.
“I just feel like I never expected to be here again.” But now that I’m here, I’m really content.
“Dating in New York is extremely hectic, but it’s a lot of fun. It was really enjoyable.
“It’s so much fun that I get excited just thinking about it right now. I’m experiencing a moment of “Sex and the City.”
“It is crazy out here on these streets, I’ll just say that.”
Williams went on to say that she is pleased that she now knows more about what she wants and doesn’t want out of life and that she needed to “grow and learn” on her own.
“I believe that eventually you realize that dating isn’t always enjoyable. I had to stand back and realize that I needed to develop independently, learn what made me happy, and evolve.
People just begin to gravitate around you after you do that because they sense your confidence.
“That just radiates through friendships and family and attracts the right people to you.”
After dating for almost ten years and growing up as friends in central California since they were eight years old, Allen and Williams called it quits in the beginning of 2023.
