The player rankings from the crucial victory are listed below.
David Button, 7, made some outstanding saves during a sluggish first half to keep his team in the contest. There were a few instances
where he may have needed to have more control over his box, but one cannot fault the shot-stopping.

recovered and looked stronger as the afternoon wore on.

Substitutes
(7) Paul Mukariu
The summer signing was fearless and sought to commit defenders at every chance, one of two arrivals that helped change the game’s
flow. I hope to see the loanee from Copenhagen more often.
Ben Elliott, 7: Superb cameo from the Chelsea youngster, who Bolton could not handle. Intelligent in possession, the midfielder had
all the tricks and flicks in his locker.
Tom McIntyre, 6: Very solid cameo from the fan favourite, who dealt with his man comfortably and looked to keep attacks going
whenever possible.
Amadou Mbengue, 6: Similar to McIntyre, used to crowd and shift in momentum to keep attacks going. Had the burst of speed to
cover any forward attempting to run past him.
You won’t find a more well-liked match-winner than 18-year-old Caylan Vickers, despite his numerous chances to win this season. The
midfielder is taking chances after spending ten years in the developmental divisions.
