The video from Blackburn Rovers’ training session on Thursday at Brockhall been made public. James Hill and Semir Telalovic made their debut appearances in the group.

After taking a few days off during the current international break, Blackburn Rovers players returned to practice on Thursday.

After the 3-0 loss against Plymouth Argyle, Jon Dahl Tomasson offered his team some time off, giving them the much-needed rest they required after a demanding first month of the season.

The group practised at Brockhall, working on short possession drills, close-range finishing, and other things, with the exception of players who are away on international service, including Adam Wharton.

After Rovers made the video available in their most recent episode of “Rovers backstage,” we had a look and noted five points from the most recent training session.

Semir Telalovic, a new acquisition for Rovers who signed on deadline day, participated in his first practice. On the practice field and in the cafeteria, the striker introduced himself to teammates with a short greeting.

Video captured the new forward conversing with Tomasson as they exchanged greetings. Along with James Hill, another newcomer, he made an introduction speech in front of the gathering.

The video concentrated on Telalovic throughout practice to give Rovers supporters an idea of what to anticipate. Sam Szmodics laid the ball to him from close range so that he could score, and he was then caught finishing off a wonderful sweeping training play. Perhaps this is a portent of things to come!

Hill makes a statement.
Hill attended Brockhall for his first meeting with the group, just like Telalovic had. Hill has already received praise from others near the practice field for his interpersonal abilities.Hill, who is only 21 years old, is outgoing, cocky, and not at all shy. That was evident in the early videos when he interacted with new teammates and assimilated himself.

He made an impression on the field during the rapid-fire possession drills, both with the ball and with his zeal to recover it. He’s a strong competitor for Rovers this year and is an agile defender.

Neither JRC, Ennis, nor Sigurdsson

Joe Rankin-Costello, Niall Ennis, and Arnor Sigurdsson weren’t visible on camera during practice due to injuries. While arriving at the training area, Rankin-Costello and Sigurdsson were both photographed, but they chose not to join the main group.

Due to groin pain, Rankin-Costello was unable to play against Plymouth and Harrogate. The plan is for him to return following the international break.

Sigurdsson has been in light training for a few weeks, but he hasn’t yet played with the main group. He will require cautious management and maybe participate in internal competitions before being taken on by the first team. It is hoped that Sigurdsson will be able to play again before October.

Tomasson initially declared Ennis to be out for a few weeks due to a knee injury sustained against Hull. He is anticipated to return following the international break despite missing the league contests against Watford and Plymouth. On Thursday, he was at the gym working, and he will soon be back.

Batty is back

Jake Batty is one person who hasn’t been seen in a while. Since the Carabao Cup victory over Walsall, the left-back hasn’t played.

Due to a minor injury, the adolescent has been missing. He wasn’t prepared in time to play against Harrogate, but it’s encouraging to see that he is now back in full training.

Since Rovers lack depth at fullback, they must have all of their players healthy, especially since Rankin-Costello is now injured.

The frogginess of Szmodics
Szmodics, who has become a staple in front of the camera, was right in the middle of the action as usual. He caught a frog on the practice field and was back on the wind-up.Szmodics, who has taken on the role of the club jester, amused himself by pursuing Lewis Travis while serving as captain. As usual, Szmodics is having fun!
