Broncos sign a new 10-year agreement to name their headquarters….

The eight-year agreement with UCHealth came to an end with the signing of the new one.

ENGLEWOOD, Colorado: Everywhere in the world, including the NFL and the medical industry, there is competition.

In order to become the official healthcare provider and naming rights holder of their training facility, the Denver Broncos and Centura Health have reached a 10-year agreement.

It is regarded as one of the most important commercial collaborations in the history of the franchise. The two institutions are well-known in Denver and are situated next to one another in the Centennial neighborhood.

Following an eight-year deal to name the team’s training facility after UCHealth, the Broncos will host executives from Centura Health for a press conference later today to officially announce the collaboration. At the press conference, Broncos owner Greg Penner will be present alongside Centura Health CEO Peter Banko and Broncos president Damani Leech to highlight the importance of the deal.

As to its official website, Centura Health is an 1882-founded healthcare organization that provides comprehensive treatment throughout Colorado, as well as certain areas of Kansas and Utah.

“We have a strong history of legendary accomplishments, a pioneering legacy, and an unwavering commitment to mission and core values,” according to a statement from Banko. The two venerable Colorado organizations’ announcement of this exciting new alliance is just the start of what they can do together. Working together with you to build this strong partnership in the service of our communities, neighbors, and shared fans today, tomorrow, and years to come excites me the most.

The naming rights agreement with UCHealth was scheduled to expire after the 2022 season, so people involved with the negotiations say Centura Health first expressed interest in working with the Broncos almost a year ago. Following news last month that the Broncos’ corporate offices would no longer be named after UCHealth, rumors circulated among Denver’s business community that Centura Health was fervently pursuing a naming rights agreement with the NFL team.

In recent weeks, representatives from Centura Health and the Broncos completed the agreement. On Saturday, 9NEWS saw what seemed to be covered signage being put up at different locations throughout the Broncos’ rookie minicamp.

Centura Health will have significant exposure alongside the Broncos in exchange for their financial support, including signs at the Broncos offices and Empower Field at Mile High. With the healthcare system pledging a sizeable yearly gift to the Broncos’ recently updated Denver Broncos Foundation with youth, hunger, and DEI projects, Centura Health is expected to collaborate with the Broncos in the community.

The Broncos’ partnership with Centura Health is just one more illustration of how strong the team’s brand and popularity endure even though their on-field performance has recently been among the worst in the NFL. The Broncos just concluded their season ticket renewal period, and more than 98% of supporters renewed their season ticket packages.

Following an active and successful few months for business operations under the new leadership of Leech with first-year owners with the Walton-Penner group, the name rights arrangement is the most recent important announcement.

“We’re thrilled to collaborate with Centura Health as a part of this important partnership, which is exemplified by our shared commitment to serving our community and our training facility’s naming rights,” Leech said.

The Broncos announced last week that they would quadruple their financial support for the community by revitalizing the Broncos Foundation. This information was released along with a $100 million remodeling project at Empower Field at Mile High and the start of an independent review regarding the stadium’s future.
