The Arsenal academy graduate played a starring role, before enjoying his first senior loan with League One side Lincoln City. He joined Rotherham on loan last summer but after six months, he opted to sign for the Skyblues for the remainder of the 2022/23 campaign.

In total, Norton-Cuffy made 45 appearances in all competitions last season, providing two assists. He also starred in all three of Coventry’s play-off matches last season, before the Skyblues suffered a defeat to Luton Town at Wembley Stadium.

Making his EFL mark

Brooke Norton-Cuffy joined League One side Lincoln City on loan in January 2022, remaining with the club until the end of the season. With the Imps, the full-back made 17 appearances for the club and scored his first and only senior goal to date when he struck past Sheffield Wednesday in a 3-1 win.

This attracted the interest of Rotherham United who signed him on loan from Arsenal, but a managerial change for the Millers saw him opt to move to Coventry City.

Writer’s View

As a Skyblues fan, Brooke Norton-Cuffy suffered a slow start but his performances continuously improved and by the end, he was one of the first names on the team sheet.

He has also attracted interest from Sheffield Wednesday, which means the race is well and truly on but it is important to note that there has been no comment from Arsenal as to why he hasn’t been selected.
