Everton player ratings as James Garner and four others superb vs Bournemouth
Jordan Pickford – 7
When he had nothing to do, he produced a fantastic stop to deny Keifer Moore with just 10 minutes left. He was razor sharp off his line to foil any possible threat. Will also be overjoyed to keep his first spotless game of the year.
Ashley Young – 7
The best performance thus far this season. returned his manager’s trust by being loyal in the face of requests to start Nathan Patterson. After picking up an early booking, they were at ease in their possession and shown genuine restraint.
James Tarkowski – 7
Dominic Solanke and him dominated the air fights, and his distribution was far better than it was the weekend before. Additionally, he displayed the level of poise that has been missing from his recent performances.
Jarrad Branthwaite – 8
The youthful center-back turned in yet another excellent performance. One of the Premier League’s emerging stars, he is quickly becoming so. He didn’t put a foot wrong; he was calm on the ball and powerful in the tackle.
Vitalii Mykolenko -7
they created the kind of weekly spectacle you want to see. His defense was strong, and he made an effort to provide an opening for offense when he could. Likewise, they collaborated with Dwight McNeil to open up a number of doors.
Dwight McNeil – 8
from the first whistle, excellent. His early pressure helped set the stage for what was to follow since he posed a persistent danger. He made an inch-perfect cross to Jack Harrison for Abdoulaye Doucoure’s goal.
Abdoulaye Doucoure – 7
Another who pressed from the front really well. Also helped create two really good chances with some nice, neat link-up play. Deservedly got his name on the scoresheet and should have had another.
Jack Harrison – 8
Superb after a slow start. He took his goal really well and offered Everton a balance to their side that they haven’t had this season. The fitter he gets, the better he will become.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin – 8
Led the line superbly well. Forced the Bournemouth backline into numerous mistakes and was a constant threat. Twice went close before being replaced. Everton are just a far better side with him leading the line.
