Former NRL striker’s son signs with Premier League club Burnley FC

Son of Super League icon signs Premier League contract ahead of captaining  country at World Cup

Marley Leuluai, son of former NRL striker Kylie Leuluai, will not follow in his father’s footsteps but instead embark on his own journey under a different code.
Marley Leuluai has signed his first professional contract with football giants Burnley FC, who play in the Premier League, the top football league in England.
A professional defender, the youngster has represented the New Zealand U17 national team and is currently representing the country at the FIFA U17 World Cup in Indonesia.
Leuluai’s father is none other than Kylie Leuluai.
A journeyman, Leuluai worked with the Balmain Tigers, Wests Tigers, Sydney Roosters, Parramatta Eels and Manly Sea Eagles over eight years in the NRL – logging 78 first grade matches.
However, the Samoa international is best known for his time playing overseas with Super League club Leeds Rhinos, where he played 258 games and scored
