Medical update emerges on Hamza Igamane as Rangers eye another transfer…

AS FAR striker Hamza Igamane is not understood to be close to moving to Rangers despite a five-year contract agreement, according to Hanif Ben Barkane.

The Foot Mercato journalist reported on 22 June that reports of him joining for £2.5million [Kora Maroc] are understood to be false and he’s also not undergone his medical, as claimed by the Scottish Sun on 22 June

However, he does not have his visa yet to move to Ibrox and is yet to sign the paperwork for the transfer.

Via Twitter, Barkane wrote: “Info Hamza Igamane

“5 year contract for Igamane at Rangers BUT the amount of €3million announced is false.

“It is still far from being completed since the player has not had his medical examination and does not yet have his visa. No signature yet.”

Rangers are unlikely to announce the signing of Igamane in the next week as firstly, the reported transfer fee of €3million is incorrect, which suggests that negotiations may still be ongoing or facing complications.
