On Sunday, the Detroit Lions suffered an embarrassing 38-6 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, but the game was not the only thing

the Lions lost as Kerby Joseph and Mohamed Ibrahim both left with injuries. On Monday, Campbell spoke to reporters and he

gave an update on both of those players.

What Campbell Said About Kerby Joseph

First, the good news—the safety Kerby Joseph has cleared concussion tests, ensuring his availability for Week 8. This is a relief for the

Lions, as Joseph’s role is vital in their defensive lineup.

“He’s good, he’s cleared,” Campbell said.

What Campbell Said About Mohamed

According to Campbell, Mohamed Ibrahim, who suffered a dislocated hip, has undergone successful surgery. While his return to

football may take some time due to the associated pain, the fact that he can move his hip is encouraging news.

“They just needed to put him under to get the hip back in, which it did. It’s good. So he’s obviously walking around. So that’s good

news,” Campbell said.

“It’ll be a while, still a lot of pain. But at least he can move that hip.”

Bottom Line – Good News and Bad News

It’s obviously great news that Kerby Joseph avoided a concussion, but it is a bummer that Mohamed Ibrahim, who dislocated his hip,

is going to miss an extended amount of time. With that being said, our thoughts and prayers are with him for a full recovery.
