The Celtics received some good and bad injury news as their big men head into Wednesday’s crucial game against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Kristaps Porzingis was added to the Celtics’ injury report released Tuesday afternoon, with the team listing him as questionable for Wednesday’s rematch with Philadelphia due to a right knee injury.
Boston also upgraded two-way center Neemias Queta to questionable status as he recovers from a right leg injury.

Porzingis has been excellent in Boston, playing in all 10 games so far this year, averaging 23.
5 points and 7.
4 rebounds.
He shot a career-high 56% from the field and played a straight game without any issues this weekend despite dealing with a bout of plantar fasciitis this summer.

Given his injury history, expect the Celtics to proceed cautiously with Porzingis if he continues to be sore on Wednesday.
So far, the team has kept their minutes pretty well, averaging 30.
2 minutes per game.
Al Horford is expected to start for Porzingis if he can’t match Horford with Joel Embiid.
Queta’s improvement is a promising development on Boston’s injury front, as he has been out for years with a foot injury.
Queta impressed in the preseason off the bench and would be exactly the type of player who could get a chance against Philadelphia if the Celtics are short-handed in other areas of the frontcourt.
