Before the NFC West showdown between the Arizona Cardinals (3-10) and San Francisco 49ers (10-3) commences on Dec. 17, both teams have released their Thursday reports of Week 15.

Arizona Cardinals

Did Not Participate: tight end Geoff Swaim (back)

Limited Practice Participant: linebacker Krys Barnes (ribs), running back Emari Demercado, punter Blake Gillikin (back), cornerback Antonio Hamilton (groin), defensive back Bobby Price (quadricep), defensive tackle Kevin Strong (knee), cornerback Starling Thomas V ankle), safety Jalen Thompson (toe), offensive tackle Elijah Wilkinson (neck), wide receiver Marquise Brown (heel) and wide receiver Michel Wilson (neck)

Full Practice Participant: quarterback Kyler Murray (right thumb)

Out of the list, Murray sticks out as he was grieving in pain during the Cardinals dramatic, 24-10 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Dec. 3.

Murray would squint and tried to maneuver his thumb after almost every drive following an unknown incident in which he tweaked it.

Unlike the past few weeks, Hamilton is back on the field after being ruled out for the past two games with a groin injury.

Not participating yesterday, Brown returned today as a limited participant in Arizona’s preparations vs. San Francisco.

Brown played against the Los Angeles Rams on Nov. 26 even though he was not fully practicing during Week 12.

As for Price, he was designated to return from injured reserve yesterday following a quadricep injury that held him out since the beginning of November.

San Francisco 49ers

Did Not Participate: defensive end Arik Armstead (foot, knee), linebacker Oren Burks (knee), tight end Ross Dwelley (ankle), linebacker Dre Greenlaw (hip, ankle), nose tackle Javon Hargrave (hamstring), cornerback Charvarius Ward (groin), guard Aaron Banks (hip) and running back Elijah Mitchell (knee)

Limited Practice Participant: guard Spencer Burford (knee)

Full Practice Participant: cornerback Darrell Luter Jr. (hamstring)

Removed: offensive tackle Trent Williams (non-injury related) and cornerback Ambry Thomas (non-injury related)

Williams and Thomas were both healthy yesterday, but they had personal matters to attend to, thus their absence.

The 49ers have gone a second-straight day without having Armstead, Ward and Greenlaw at their disposal.

Since signing a three-year contract with San Francisco last year, Ward may miss his first game as a 49er after starting in the past 30 available.

Armstead, a nine-year vet, has five sacks and 27 tackles in 12 games this season before suffering injuries to a knee and foot.
