David Wagner watched his Norwich side lose their top six position last night at the Swansea.com Stadium thanks to a late first Swans

strike from Bashir Humphreys.

The on-loan Chelsea defender struck after two blocked Jamal Lowe shots to secure the three points for the Swans after it looked like

the two sides were heading for a draw in front of a vastly reduced home crowd.

It meant a frustrating night for Wagner who had seen his side hit back after falling behind within three minutes as the Swans won the

ball back high up the pitch to create a chance that Jamal Lowe took with glee to get his third goal in as many games.

The Norwich boss though felt that his side had created enough chances to win the game and his frustration showed as he reflected

back on the game after the final whistle.

“From my point of view, first half we were not good. We didn’t start well but we scored the equaliser with a nice build up and play out

from the back,” Wagner said.

“Second half, I think we were better, we had enough chances to kill the game. In both boxes today, we were not focused enough, not

clinical enough, we had enough chances to win this. That’s why I’m disappointed and angry.

“The dressing room is disappointed, the dressing room is angry. It’s anything but satisfied by what happened because this is a

performance where I can say that for the effort and for the attitude, I have no complaints.

“They really tried, they worked hard but you have to be clinical and use your chances, goals change games. We haven’t done that and

defensively, the two goals we gave away and two further clear cut chances they had, it was just too easy. We have to defend more

proper and use our chances as well.”
