Reds’ interest is confirmed by the agent of Nottingham Forest’s transfer target.

The agency for Michele Di Gregorio has commented following the Reds’ summertime connection with him, according to the most recent Nottingham Forest news from Nottinghamshire Live.

 

Michele Di Gregorio’s representative claims that while the goalkeeper from Monza was “flattered” by Nottingham Forest’s interest this summer, he has no plans to leave Italy anytime soon.

Carlo Alberto Belloni claims that even if his client is receiving a lot of positive attention, the highly regarded goalkeeper will stay in Serie A. In an attempt to locate a new number one, Forest and Inter Milan were linked to a summer transfer for Di Gregorio.

Dean Henderson made an impression while on loan at the City Ground last season, and he was eventually considered for a transfer to Crystal Palace. After Keylor Navas joined on a short-term loan from Paris St. Germain and made a significant impact as the Reds went on to achieve Premier League safety, a trade for him thereafter never happened.

Eventually, in the summer, Forest acquired Matt Turner from Arsenal, and he has rapidly established himself as their first choice. Odysseus Vlachodimos was also brought in from Benfica to bolster the team. Forest reportedly made an offer for Di Gregorio earlier this summer, but the 26-year-old chose to remain with Monza.
