OFFICIAL BREAKING NEWS; Minnesota Vikings steal another important assistant coach from the …..

This week, the Denver Broncos lost two of their best assistant coaches on defense to other teams. The squad will need to bring on two new coaches as they prepare for the upcoming season’s offseason program.

Another important defense assistant departs the Denver Broncos.

The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Denver Broncos’ defensive backs coach Christian Parker earlier this week. Marcus Dixon, the defensive line coach, is leaving to join the Minnesota Vikings, meaning they are losing another important defensive assistant.

Parker and Dixon are well-liked in league circles and are both given opportunity to develop even more. They were the only two members of Nathaniel Hackett’s 2022 staff to remain.

Although Denver could have prevented both coaches from interviewing with the Eagles and Vikings, Sean Payton gave them permission to look for other opportunities.

After leaving the Super Bowl-winning Los Angeles Rams to join the Broncos, Dixon had an immediate impact as the defensive line coach. Dre’Mont Jones and D.J. Jones enjoyed successful seasons in 2022 while he was their coach.

In addition, he has contributed positively to the growth of athletes such as Matt Henningsen, Elijah Garcia, and Jordan Jackson. Dixon contributed to the Broncos defensive line’s nickname, “The Dark Side,” where the team’s philosophy is to play loose and aggressive on gamedays and abandon a carefree attitude.

It’s something that [Marcus] Dixon, our defensive line coach, made for our D-line, D.J. Jones stated. It’s something we now live by and something we break down with. When you enter that field, you must enter a dark area, so Darkside will always be there.

It is currently unknown what the Broncos defensive line’s possibilities are for a new coach, who will most likely join the team. They will need to assist the Broncos defensive line in seeing an increase in interior performance, regardless of the coach.

The only two starters expected to return in 2024 are Jones and Zach Allen; the team will need to decide on Mike Purcell and Jonathan Harris in free agency.
