OFFICIAL(DONE DEAL): Manchester united have sign €80m STRIKER…

Clubs in the Premier League are in a rush to add players before the second half of the season begins.

The January transfer window is almost halfway through, and several of the big boys of the top flight—including Manchester United—have so far managed to keep their powder dry.

Similar to their former rivals Arsenal, the Red Devils have been linked to the purchase of a striker; however, Mikel Arteta has now gone out and stated that a No. 9 is unlikely to arrive at the Emirates before the deadline.

In other news, Tottenham is negotiating with Antonio Nusa, a winger for Club Bruges, after Chelsea was unable to recruit the gifted young player in the summer. Meanwhile, the Blues are still connected to a number of top strikers. Pay attention

Although Vinicius Junior, a winger for Real Madrid, has been linked to a surprise move to Manchester United this week, he is determined to rejoin Flamengo, his old team.

During his tenure at the Bernabeu, Vinicius Junior has developed into one of the top players in the world, but there have been rumors that he would be transferred to pay for Kylian Mbappe’s transfer.

Vinicius Junior has since been linked to United as a possible destination.

And although it’s unclear if Vinicius Junior would find a transfer to Old Trafford appealing, he expressed a wish to return to Flamengo in an interview with L’Equipe last year.

Tottenham is attempting to negotiate a transfer for Antonio Nusa, a talented teenage attacker, with Club Bruges.

Spurs have identified the 18-year-old as a top target; they are currently in negotiations with Chelsea on terms. Chelsea showed interest in the player back in the summer.

The Athletic say that the Londoners are negotiating a contract for Nusa, who Bruge values at €30 million (£25.75 million). If they come to an arrangement, they would also like him to stay with them for the rest of the season.

German giants Bayern Munich are poised to launch a surprise swoop for Kieran Trippier.

The veteran Newcastle right-back, 33, has emerged as a target for the German champions, who are coached by Thomas Tuchel.

Trippier has 18 months remaining on his contract at St James’ Park and Bayern are hoping that Newcastle’s interest in Joshua Kimmich could help to facilitate a deal.

Arsenal have been heavily linked with Brentford’s Ivan Toney this month – but Mikel Arteta has made it clear he has no plans to sign a No.9.

When he was asked if he would be signing a new striker this month, Arteta told reporters on Friday: “No. But, first thing, that’s because I love the players that we have.”

Does that mean Toney – who returns from an eight-month betting ban later today – will now be staying at Brentford this month?
