Reading FC team news: Wholesale changes for EFL Trophy derby - Vincentupdate

Harvey Knibbs is the only player still in the lineup from Saturday’s 2-1 loss to Leyton Orient as Ruben Selles made 10 changes for the EFL Trophy Derby Day matchup against Swindon Town.

The starting lineup seems far more experienced than the team that defeated Exeter City by a score of 9-0, and victory over the Robins would guarantee advancement into the knockout round.

The squad is made up of Academy alums Coniah Boyce-Clarke, Tom Holmes, Jayden Wareham, Michael Craig, Tivonge Rushesha, and Caylan Vickers, together with Clinton Mola, Andy Yiadom, Knibbs, Paul Mukairu, and Nesta Guinness-Walker.

With players like Lewis Wing, Femi Azeez, and Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan standing by, the bench is strong.

Boyce-Clarke, Mola, Yiadom, Holmes, Guinness-Walker, Craig, Rushesha, Knibbs, Mukairu, Vickers, and Wareham are only a few of the authors.

Lewis Ward, a former Reading Academy goalie, gets the start for Michael Flynn’s League Two team, who previously played the Arsenal Under-21s and lost on penalties.

In preparation for this evening’s EFL Trophy match against Swindon Town, Rubén Sellés has made eleven adjustments.

Only Harvey Knibbs has kept his spot from the League One match last weekend.

Clinton Mola and captain Andy Yiadom are both eligible to play in the cup match after missing the previous contest due to suspension. Coniah Boyce-Clarke starts in goal, while Jayden Wareham, who got his first professional start in the previous group game against Exeter, is given the nod once more.

The bench includes Lewis Wing, Harlee Dean, and David Button, all of whom have experience.

Boyce-Clarke, Mola, Holmes, Knibbs, Mukairu, Yiadom, Guinness-Walker, Warham, Craig, Rushesha, and Vickers are being read.
Alternates: Ehibhatiomhan, Button, Dean, Stickland, Carson, Wing

Ward, McEachran, Genesini, Uwakwe, Kinsella, Dworzak, Shade, Minturn, Obodo, Adams, and Hart are the Swindon Town players.
Fox, Keyes, Hubbard, Gray, Evans, Alston, and Hutt are the subs.
