North Melbourne's four-pick offer for West Coast's Pick 1 revealed: AFL trade news - AFL News - Zero Hanger

An improved trade offer from North Melbourne and one from the Devils have both failed in their bid to land the highly sought-after West Coast pick 1 option..
The opening pick for next month’s draft is in high demand as it will give the holder first access to top-rated prospect Harley Reid, with the Eagles expected to receive goliath deal package to even consider giving up the option..
AFL clubs can trade draft picks until November 10, then continue to trade options on draft night, while West Coast continue to make offers for pick 1..
The Eagles rejected an offer from the Kangaroos during a recent trade window that looked like the West Australian club pocketed picks 15, 18, 21 and a late first-round pick for 2024 – a move that could see the Roos keep the first three picks of the draft..
North Melbourne currently have picks 2, 3, 15, 17, 18, 57 and 82 for the 2023 AFL Draft and have now increased their bid, including their own opening selection as part of the pick first..
According to Cal Twomey of AFL.com.au, picks 2 and two of the Roos’ teenage picks were packaged for picks 1 and 23, which the Eagles are said to have rejected..

Melbourne also picked up Pick 1, which offers Picks 6, 11, 42 and their 2024 first-round pick, which was also dropped by West Coast..
“The North Melbourne bid we reported during the trade saw them field four late first-round selections for Pick 1, another bid initiated by North,” Twomey told Gettable Wednesday..
“This involves Pick 2 and two of their options in the teens for Picks 1 and 23 will come to them from the Eagles..
“Now, this doesn’t go to where the Eagles stand on these trade discussions, but it’s out there for them..
“Melbourne has also submitted a bid for Pick 1.. Picks 6, 11, a future first-round pick and Pick 42.. That didn’t go anywhere either, but it showed interest in the selection..
“We can reveal these two deals.. They’ve stepped up their game, Roos' increased offer, Melbourne's four-pick bid for Pick 1 revealed: AFL trade news - AFL News - Zero Hanger by bringing in one of their top two options..”
The Roos could increase their offer given they hold a total of six first-round picks for this year and next, with any move for pick 1 likely to see the Eagles gain the Choose 2 to redeem..
West Coast look set to pick No..1 in the draft, with the Roos perhaps the only club able to please the Eagles thanks to their strong draft hand..
The 2023 National Draft will begin on Monday, November 20 and will take place over two nights..
