Revealed: ‘The potters will play The Hornets on Saturday 3pm’.

‘Stoke to play Watford FC on Saturday

There’s been a slight shift in our publicised schedule towards the end of this week!

We can now announce that Basingstoke Town will host Watford FC on Saturday in a 3pm kick off. We look forward to welcoming a Hornet’s squad which we anticipate will be mainly built from their U21’s squad.

Getting To Know: Ezio Touray - Watford FC

The game was arranged as a celebration of Ezio Touray’s move to the Championship club during the 2022/23 campaign. Ezio has since moved on from Watford and is currently trialing with another professional side.

Sadly this means that our previously arranged fixture versus Ascot United FC on Friday evening has been forceably postponed. There was original hope that we would be able to fulfil both fixtures by producing two squads in our continued bid to build fitness levels. Sadly, that will no longer be possible. We’ve sent our apologies to Ascot for the late postponement, we’re hopeful they’ll find a replacement side for the game.

Apologies to anyone that had made plans to join us on Friday evening, we hope you’re now able to join us at home on Saturday afternoon.

We’re looking forward to a great game!

Entry to the game will be priced at Adults £6, Conc £4, U18 £2 and U12 £1.
