THE DEAL IS DONE : Jason Kelce says he’s not quite ready to call it quits, but…

Eagles center Jason Kelce says he’s not quite ready to call it quits, citing “too much emotion in the moment.”

(News in Gray) – Eagles center Jason Kelce stated this week on his New Heights podcast that he isn’t quite ready to declare his career as an NBA player over.

Regarding the claims, Eagles center Jason Kelce stated, “I didn’t announce what I was going to do on purpose, despite what’s been leaked to the media.” “Yet people are perceptive to things like body language.”

Over the past three seasons, 36-year-old Kelce has wavered on his decision to retire. According to the Associated Press, coach Nick Sirianni contributed to Kelce’s legend by bringing a keg of beer to the center’s house to persuade him to come back in 2022.

Kelce remained on the sidelines in the NFL wild-card playoff football match against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday after the game.

“After a game like that, I just don’t think you’re in a position to really make that decision.” “I simply don’t,” he stated in reference to a possible retirement in his podcast. “Too much emotion is present right now. Too much is happening right now for me to completely understand that choice.

Kelce expressed frustration with all that is going on and stated that when it comes time to make public announcements about his future, he will do it in a way that is both decisive and respectful of the people who have influenced his career.

After a game like that, he stated, “I don’t think that would be respectful or even accurate to be able to do that.”

According to Kelce, he did speak with the squad and explain how

Kelce said he did address the team, letting them know how much he cherished everyone in the organization.

“A lot of guys, you know, said, ’If that is your last game, I feel sorry for you’ — and I’m like, ‘Don’t feel sorry for me,’” he said holding back tears.

After 13 seasons, 156 straight starts and six All-Pro team selections, Kelce has been the heart of the Eagles, a hero on the Philadelphia sports scene, a Super Bowl champion.

The burly, bushy-haired and bearded Kelce has been a stalwart of the offensive line since he was a sixth-round pick in the 2011 draft out of Cincinnati.

After missing the most of the 2012 season due to a partially damaged MCL and torn ACL, he became an Iron Man.

Kelce has extensive experience outside of football. He co-hosts a podcast. The documentary “Kelce” focused on him.
