💬 Kevin Nicholson previews Leyton Orient clash
Kevin Nicholson, City’s assistant manager, has shared his perspective as the team gets ready to face Leyton Orient at the SJP on Saturday.
Nicho is looking forward to the game as the Grecians try to maintain their strong start to the season. Nicho is filling in for Gary
Caldwell, who was at a board meeting and handling press duties.
“Our league position means nothing, and Saturday is all about us and how we try to beat a good team,” Nicho added.
“I want us to have a good day, I want the fans to have a good day and have a fantastic game to watch, and for them to know that the
players hagve been prepping like their lives depend on it.
“The most important thing for us is the game itself and ensuring we are ready. We know we can be better and we have to keep setting
higher standards.
“Yes we’re happy with what we’ve been doing and we have to keep doing that, but there is still room for more. We have to be the
hardest working team and most focused team in the league. It doesn’t matter where you are in the league right now, it’s just about
beating Leyton Orient.”
