Three teams are waiting in line to sign the “brilliant” Nottingham Forest striker.

Currently, Gustavo Scarpa is wanted by three teams from Nottingham Forest on a long-term deal. The 29-year-old is presently on loan to Olympiacos for the 2023–24 season.

R7 claims that all three of the clubs interested in permanently signing him are from Brazil. Flamengo, Fluminense, and Palmeiras, the team Forest signed him from, are all interested.

Scarpa made a rare start for Olympiacos last week. They secured a 4-0 win during the game against Kifisia and the Brazilian forward gave a good account of himself.

The Reds took the player on a free transfer from Palmeiras in January 2023. He made 10 appearances for Forest before it was decided that he would go to Olympiacos on loan this season.

Forest forward Scarpa wanted by three clubs

The player has a contract at Forest until 2026. As a result, it’s unlikely that the player will be allowed to leave on the cheap, although it seems as though Scarpa has played his last game for the club.

 

The player’s immediate goal is to play a lot of football in Greece this season. A choice will need to be made in January or at the conclusion of the campaign.

Scarpa gave Forest a few glimpses of what he is capable of. In the end, Steve Cooper didn’t think he was the one to rely on in a relegation battle, and it’s safe to say the squad now has superior players.

For Scarpa, the future seems to lie outside of England.
This one is a little regrettable. When he first arrived at Forest, Scarpa mentioned that his aim was to play in Europe, but things appear to be finished for the player in terms of playing in the Premier League.

During specific game phases under Cooper, the player has some pretty strong moments. Ian Wright praised his performance in a 2-0 victory over Leicester back in January, calling it “brilliant.”

Now is the time of Scarpa’s career when he is at his best. Therefore, he must not spend too much time thinking about the Forest setback and but instead concentrate on his future plans after he departs permanently.
