The 19-year-old Sweden international midfielder will spend the 2023/24 season with the Sky Blues. Yasin made

three Premier League appearances for Brighton last season

, making his full debut in May.

The teenager had been handed his senior bow in a 5-0 FA Cup win over Grimsby Town in March. Yasin joined

Brighton in January from Swedish club AIK for an undisclosed fee, signing a four-year contract at the Amex Stadium.

Having progressed through the youth ranks at AIK, he made his senior debut at the age of 17. He went on to play a

total of 48 times for the club, scoring six goals.

“We’re very pleased to welcome Yasin to Coventry City,” said Sky Blues manager Mark Robins. “He is a versatile

player who can play across the midfield area, but predominantly central, and is technically adept too with pace and energy.

“He had an impressive spell at AIK in Sweden where he played a lot of games for his age and is highly thought of at

Brighton, who signed him in January. We’d like to thank Brighton for allowing Yasin to join us on loan now and we

look forward to working with him this season.”

Brighton head coach Roberto De Zerbi said: “It is important for Yasin to go out and play games on loan and of course

we will keep an eye on his performances.”
