Unbelievable: AJ McCarron makes ‘shocking’ admission over possible return to Bengals….

AJ McCarron opens up about return to Bengals

“I love playing for this organization and being in this city.”

NFL: Indianapolis Colts at Cincinnati Bengals

Did anyone else have déjà vu on Sunday afternoon?

On a rainy day at Paycor Stadium, AJ McCarron was back in action for the Cincinnati Bengals.

It may have been for only about five snaps, but McCarron’s number was called when Browning had to leave the game due to cramping

in his throwing thumb.

McCarron stepped in and immediately threw a touchdown strike to Tee Higgins that was called back due to a questionable (more like

horrible) offensive pass interference call.

After the game, McCarron shared his thoughts about his return to the Jungle with Elise Jesse.

“To hear the crowd cheer and give me the welcome. It’s just surreal. It’s just awesome. I love playing for this organization and being in

this city. Brought back a lot of great memories, and I wish we could’ve had that touchdown right there,” said McCarron of Higgins

being robbed of a TD.

McCarron was signed to the active roster before the Jacksonville game after spending time on the Bengals practice squad due to the

calf injury of Joe Burrow.

Regardless if it was a quick in and out for McCarron, as a lifelong fan of the Bengals, it was amazing to see his return to the Jungle.
