Christian Horner won’t say no to adding Red Bull’s “nemesis” in favor of Sergio Perez.

After the Ferrari driver won the Australian Grand Prix, Christian Horner hinted that Carlos Sainz would be competing for Red Bull the next season. Lewis Hamilton will replace Sainz in 2025 after switching from Mercedes to Ferrari.

This implies that the Spaniard is considering his options as a free agent. At the end of the season, Sergio Perez’s future at Red Bull remains uncertain, and he might be replaced.

Sometimes you have to go outside the pool as well because we want to field the greatest pairing we can with Red Bull Racing,” Horner remarked. In some areas, the market is reasonably fluid. With a performance like that, you really couldn’t rule anything out.

We’re not in a dire hurry, so I believe we just want to take our time. Checo [Perez] was definitely compromised today and has had a fantastic start to the season.

In the meanwhile, Sainz is aware that if he can maintain his competitiveness at the front of the grid, his stock will continue to rise.

He murmured, “I’m not sure.” It certainly doesn’t hurt. That is a whole hundred percent. Well, I still don’t have a job for next year. I suppose that this will assist it. Indeed, I’m not sure.

“I believe that everyone is generally aware of my abilities. Yes, I compete for myself. I race because I want to continuously show myself that I am capable of winning whenever I have a competitive car and a weekend opportunity to win.

“I don’t compete to win over team captains or to establish my worth to others. I race to show myself that, given a car, I can do the task at hand and get there. I plan to continue approaching things with same mindset and attitude for the remainder of the year.
