Guardiola on meeting with Mazzulla, head coach of the Boston Celtics
It was a joy to host and meet legendary Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla this week, according to Pep Guardiola.
Mazzulla, a City supporter, spent a weekend in Manchester taking in the play and training of the reigning champions.
He met Guardiola on Sunday after the Chelsea match on Saturday. The two switched jerseys at the CFA and he witnessed the players begin practice for the Brentford match.
The NBA schedule break caused the 35-year-old to take a quick journey to the UK with his family in order to attend the All-Star weekend.
A huge admirer of Mazzulla output, Guardiola talked about catching up with him during his press conference this afternoon.
Naturally. When asked if he appreciated the get-together, the boss replied, “It was a pleasure to host him.”
