UNEXPECTED ANNOUNCEMENT : New Orleans Saint players have successfully join washington due to…

For the second year in a row, the NFL Players Association released a poll asking players about how the league’s teams treated them. This year’s report card included a new category: head coach.

We can see how players feel about their head coaches and where they think there are shortcomings in their methods from the ratings that were released after the 2023 season.

Player grades for head coach Dennis Allen were B-. Only three NFL head coaches scored lower than that: the Atlanta Falcons (C+), Las Vegas Raiders (D), and Washington Commanders (C). Three other NFL head coaches received that rating.

Following the commencement of the 2023 season, head coaches for the Falcons, Raiders, and Commanders were all replaced.

The New England Patriots, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Cleveland Browns were the other three teams who awarded their head coaches a B-.

The NFLPA presented statistics that suggests Allen’s willingness to listen in the locker room detracted the most from his ranking. Allen was ranked 28th out of 32 clubs in that category by the players’ opinions.

According to the report, 84% of Saints players think Allen uses their time well, placing them 22nd overall.

The majority of Falcons players—67%—said that head coach Arthur Smith, who was let go following the 2023 campaign, was a good use of their time. When it came to listening to the locker room, they put him in the thirty-first spot overall.

Out of all NFL head coaches,  Josh McDaniels, the former coach of the Raiders, received the lowest rating from players, with only 39% thinking he was efficient with their time. When it came to listening in on the locker room, McDaniels was last in the league.
